Democratic candidates win during vote count at an election precinct in Minsk (photos)

The observer of Piershamayski district precinct No.59 Siarhiey Holik managed to photograph the piles of ballot papers with marks visible in them.

 


The piles sorted out by one of the election commission’s members. It is seen that – in half an hour after the vote count began – the quantity of votes for Andrey Sannikau is approximately equal to the quantity of votes for Alaksandr Lukashenka.

A commission’s member counts the last pile of ballot papers; however, the voting results summary paper has marks only in “Lukashenka” and in “Against All Candidates” columns.


According to the final minutes that was presented in several minutes, the number of votes for Lukashenka (1,564) is some dozens times higher than for Sannikau (57).
