Security services are looking for new forms of pressure?

05/07/10

After the numerous reports in the Belarusian Internet media, the unknown persons abandoned the siege of the apartment where Artur Finkievich and Nasta Mashchava stayed.

The leader of the Young Belarus doesn’t know why did the people dressed as civilians try to get into the apartment; however, he points to several peculiarities of their behaviour:

“I don’t know what was the reason why they tried to break into the apartment, but the peculiar thing is that it was an attempt of unauthorized penetration. The precinct militia officer wasn’t present, and they didn’t try to show any documents. Also, neither me nor Nasta Mashchava have any indebtedness in the form of any fines before the state”, Finkievich tells.

According to the youth activist, the people dressed as civilians who blocked the entrances of the building phoned on the apartment telephone, and knocked at the door and on the windows. They also visited the neighbours asking who lives in this apartment, and sent a provoker.

When the information about the incident started to get into the Internet, the security services left.

For reference – An hour ago, the unknown people blocked Finkievich in a Minsk apartment.
