Activist incriminated a crime? (photos)

Siarhiey Panamarou is summoned to the Kletsk District Prosecutor’s Office as a suspect in a criminal case.

 

The Movement for Freedom (MFF) activist received a summons in accordance with which he should come to the Kletsk District Prosecutor’s Office to the investigator of the top importance cases Mr. Azarevich on June 9 at 9 a.m. It wasn’t noted in the summons in what quality he is summoned, therefore he refused to sign it.

 

Panamarou received a new summons after a while. It was written in it that the activist is summoned as a suspect in the criminal case No.10026000040.

 

“I could only guess at the real reasons of this summoning. The summons has neither the information on the essence of the criminal case nor the article incriminated against me. Most likely, I’m being persecuted for writing the materials on web-sites and in The Active Kletsk newsletter”, Panamarou says.

 

As our web-site editorial office found out later, Panamarou could be hold responsible under Article 369 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (“Insult of Public Official”).
