Over a hundred of Belarusians to visit the Seven Festival

21/05/10

Bands and listeners express their intention to visit the festival.

Some hundred Belarusians booked the tickets to the Seven Festival from the Belarusian partner of the festival – the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) – within two last weeks. The first batch of passports was filed to the Polish Consulate.

The MFF representatives who provide assistance in organizing the trip to the festival inform that the applications for visas are still accepted; however, they advise hurrying since the procedure of execution of the documents isn’t quick, and there’s not much time left. It could happen that some people won’t get free visas.

Meanwhile, the organizers announced the participation of new headliners of the festival – the Swiss band Lacrimosa. The band will celebrate its 20th anniversary soon, and because of this, has recently released a double album named Schattenspiel presenting the previously unreleased material, as well as two new songs. The band will perform in full strength (six members) in Węgorzewo.

In addition to Lacrimosa, the following bands will also participate in the festival: The On Fire (Australia), Sorry Boys, Seven Nation Army, Normalsi, Time To Express, and others. As was informed before, the following bands will be the festival’s headliners this year: Sepultura (Brazil), The Legendary Pink Dots (Netherlands), Vader, Heart & Soul, Hey, Coma, and Strange Attractor (Netherlands).
