Every fourth voter of Minsk participated in the early voting

The Movement for Freedom (the MFF) Minsk coordinator and the candidate for deputy Yuras Mielashkievich thinks an order was given by the higher authorities to election commissions to ensure maximum turnout of voters during the early voting.

“Some 100-170 voters participated in the early voting during the last week at those precincts of the Slabadskaya constituency where we performed the observation. By contrast, about 600 people voted early till April 25 at those precincts where there were no our representatives”, Mielashkievich says.

For reference, the MFF activist presents the information of the precinct No.97. 606 people participated in the early voting at this precinct. This precinct includes multy-storey residential houses with the total number of apartments of 1,050.

In total, some 4,800 people of the 23,667 voters of the Slabadskaya constituency took part in the early voting.

The similar information was received from the Rakasouskaya constituency No.9 where the co-founder of the MFF and the member of the Belarusian Popular Front party Artsiom Lava is delegated. 25% of voters participated in the early voting prior to the principal polling day there.

A record number of early voters is in commission No.14 where 656 (27%) of the 2,437 voters made their choice in five days of voting.

According to the information received from the lower commissions by the candidate for deputy Andrey Sheuchyk, some 20-25% of voters participated in the early voting at the Malinauskaya constituency No.8.

For reference – the average proportion of early voting all over the country reached nearly 30%.
