The Movement to Rock

30/04/10

The Movement for Freedom (the MFF) invites everyone to the Polish Seven Festival.

The MFF is the organizational partner of the musical Seven Festival.

The MFF activists will help those wishing to visit the festival receive visas free of charge, and buy the tickets at a special cost for Belarusians – €18 for four days, as well as will arrange the work of the Belarusian camp.

Known to Belarusians by the former name Union of Rock, the musical Seven Festival will gather rock stars on July 8-11 in Masuria area. The famous Sepultura will take part in the festival among other bands this year, as well as the Belarusian Shpital F.

In 19 years of its existence, the festival in Węgorzewo located in the picturesque region of Masuria lakes became one of the largest Polish rock festivals. The organizers weren’t afraid of re-branding it for the sake of their dear Masuria district that participates in the Seven Wonders of Nature competition – hence, the name.

The following bands will play at the festival’s four stages during four days – Sepultura, Hunter, Hey, Heart and Soul, Sztywny Pal Azji, Koniec Swiata, Hurt, Kolaboranci, Strange Attractor, Wygraj Grand Prix, Coma, Closterkeller, Vader, Lipali, Muchy, California Stories Uncovered, Klimt, and Tides From Nebula. A Belarusian band will make a performance at the festival again – this time it will be Shpital F.

The organizational partner of the Seven Festival in Belarus is the MFF that will help book the tickets, receive visas free of charge, and choose the best variant of coming to Węgorzewo (the festival takes place in 200 km from the Belarusian border). The MFF activists will also familiarize the guests of the festival with the Belarusian rock culture: a Belarusian camp will operate – our islet on the Masuria lakes.

To book a ticket, please, send a request to 7fest.mff@gmail.com. Indicate whether you need a free visa (in this case, add your name in Latin alphabet as in passport, the passport number, the issuing agency, the date of issue, and the validity term).

Please, note! The MFF doesn’t guarantee the issue of visas to everyone wishing to get them: the advantage will be given to those who were the first to file their requests, with applications for visas filed in proportion to the received requests. Also, please, indicate whether you need help in coming to Węgorzewo.
