Candidates demanding re-count of votes
The authorized representatives of the Vitsiebsk province candidates of the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) sent the corresponding complaints to the Province Election Commission and to the City Election Commission.
The authorized representatives of the candidates for deputies Raisa Zarachanskaya, Viera Kavalova, Alaksiey Haurutsikau, and Mikhail Bruslakou sent the corresponding complaints to the Vitsiebsk Province Election Commission and to the Vitsiebsk City Election Commission on April 28.
The authorized representatives have personally watched the vote count, and, according to them, have reasons to suspect the members of the election commissions in mass ballot rigging. They demand the higher level election commissions initiating the procedure of re-count of votes.
For reference – The appeals were also filed to the Prosecutor’s Office by the candidates of the 30th Sukharava constituency of Minsk – the advisor to the MFF head Ales Lahviniets, Eduard Amielyanchuk, and Artsiom Sharkou – demanding to cancel the results of voting. The candidate for deputy at the Haradok constituency No.9 Leanid Autukhou filed a complaint to the Haradok Prosecutor’s Office about the violation during the election at the Haharynski precinct – namely, the absence of any vote count. The MFF Minsk coordinator Yuras Mielashkievich complained about the formal approach to vote count, as well. Zmitsier Babitski who was delegated at the Barysau constituency demands holding re-election.
