Aliaksandr Milinkevich announces presidency bid with pro-European slogans

Aliaksandr Milinkevich will run for Belarus presidency in 2011, according to his statement on May at a news conference in Hotel Europa in Minsk.
The politician has announced the thesis of his election campaign which is called 'Let's Make Belarus a True Europe'.
Milinkevich is supporting a return to the 1994 Constitution as well as Belarus' membership in the European Union. He also proposes to allow land sale, to refuse from building a nuclear power plant and to pursue a policy of energy-saving instead.
