Milinkevich commented Kazulin’s removal

- The decision of the Belarusian Social Democrat Party (Hramada) congress (BSDP) on the party’s leader removal cannot be treated as exclusively the party’s internal problem because it is quite an issue of moral principles, - the leader of the Movement for Freedom commented the replacement of Aliaksandr Kazulin from the position of the BSDP (Hramada) Chairman.

 

“It is evident that Mr. Kazulin who is kept in jail because of his political activities should be strongly supported by his party colleagues. Besides, the way one Kazulin is treated by his party members facilitates the authorities’ attempts to put more pressure on all the regime opponents. I can hardly understand those delegates who wanted to change their party leader. Their behaviour definitely contradicts common sense since the Belarusian independent society has been struggling for Kazulin’s release together with international community.

 

Therefore, I would like to express my full solidarity with Aliaksandr Kazulin. I swear to do all my best to get him released out of jail as soon as possible.”
