“Not to let him out” is the order!

On July 25, Vital Karatysh, an activist of Movement For Freedom in Kazhan-Haradok (Brest region) was taken to serve in the missile brigade 465 which is situated in the Asipovichy district (Mahiliou region). Being called in the army right after his declaration to run elections the activist is not allowed to leave military unit to get registration for elections as one of candidates in the Luniniec district (Brest region).

 

The activist is going to ask for a pass now but he is not entitled to do so until he takes the oath of allegiance. For the time being the ceremony of oath-taking is scheduled for August 9.

 

- In general, a candidate shall apply for registration himself. Meanwhile there were some cases when delegates of a candidate did it on his/her behalf. We are going to submit signatures of voters, collected in support of Karatysh’s candidacy, to the district electoral commission should our activist not be able to do it himself, - a Vice-chairman of the Movement For Freedom Yuras Hubarevich noticed.

 

The politician has no doubts it was only intention of Vital Karatysh to run elections for the next Parliament that has become a cause to drag him into the army in such an emergency.
