Officials’ pause becoming too long
More than a month has passed from the date of the citizens’ appeal to the Dobrush District Executive Committee concerning the issue of constructing a pedestrian bridge over the Iputs river.
To this moment, the officials haven’t answered to the collective appeal sent in the early February with the request to consider the issue of constructing a new pedestrian bridge which should join the Kamuna sub-district with the main part of the town.
The Movement for Freedom (the MFF) activists think the officials violate Decree No.2 On Improving The Work With The Population of January 14, 2005.
The appeal to the officials was drawn up by the MFF activists. It was signed by 297 Dobrush town residents. The existing old bridge is in the emergency state, and its use is prohibited. However, people have sometimes to risk their lives and health not to go round increasing the way by several kilometres.
