Meeting with Fieliks Shkirmankou (photos)
Poems, songs and wishes were sounding at the meeting in Slauharad.
The presentation of the new books by the poet and writer Fieliks Shkirmankou, the World War II veteran, one of the founders of the Belarusian Popular Front party, former Slauharad District Council head, was attended by the fans of his creative work from Mahiliou, Krychau, Minsk, and Homiel. 47 people have gathered in total.
Reexamination For Autumn prose book, as well as Fern Flower and My Perception poetry books were offered to the attention of the meeting participants.
The well-known Belarusian poet Siarhiey Zakonnikau was the presenter of this meeting.
Shkirmankou read some of his poems aloud to the participants. Zmitsier Bartosik enriched the party with the songs of the Soviet swans translated into Belarusian. Zakonnikau congratulated Shkirmankou with the publication of his latest books, provided the estimate of his creative work, and pointed out to his noticeable creative growth. Congratulation speeches were also made by the District Executive Committee deputy head Siarhiey Mironienka and the Prysozhski Kray district newspaper chief editor Valiantsina Yezierskaya.
The next book by Shkirmankou dedicated to the victory in the World War II is being prepared for publication now.
