Journey with Astapovich
The Belarusian Voluntary History and Culture Monuments Protection Society invites to visit Iuye, Lipnishki, Subotniki, Bieniakoni, Haitsiunishki, and other peculiar settlements of Hrodna province.
This friendly journey within the framework of the nation-wide Be Belarusians! campaign will take place on March 7 at the following route:
1. Iuye − 17th-18th centuries Bernardians Catholic church and monastery, 1882 mosque, 19th century synagogue courtyard, and local buildings.
2. Lipnishki – Early 20th century Neo-Gothic Catholic church.
3. Subotniki – Early 20th century Neo-Gothic Catholic church.
4. Zhamyslauye – Late 18th - second half 19th centuries the Umiastouskis family palace and park.
5. Trakieli – Late 18th century timber Catholic sanctuary church.
6. Boltsieniki – 19th - early 20th centuries the Putkamierys family manor.
7. Bieniakoni – Early 20th century Neo-Baroque Catholic church, and Marylia Vierashchaka grave.
8. Haitsiunishki – Early 17th century fortress house, and the ruins of the Calvinist cathedral.
9. Kanvielishki – Early 20th century Zakopane style Catholic church.
