Activists begin monitoring local problems
The initiative on solving the residents’ social problems was created in the Partyzanski district of Minsk.
The main purpose of this initiative is to discover the most urgent problems of the residents of the Partyzanski district of the capital, and to help solve them – first of all, through pressure on the responsible officials.
The Belarusian Popular Front party members and the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) supporters take part in this initiative.
The stage of questioning of the population with the purpose to discover the most urgent problems of the district is coming to an end now. After the analysis of the received data, the civil campaign will start with the purpose to draw the attention of the city officials to the most acute issues.
Based on the preliminary data, the following problems might most probably be seen as most urgent: the capital repairs of the worn housing facilities, and the chronic lack of parking lots for private motorcars.
