How did Svietlahorsk appear?

Historical and local ethnography conference dedicated to the 450th anniversary of the written reference to Shatsilki (former name of Svietlahorsk) is planned to be held in April with the support of the Movement for Freedom (the MFF).

Supposedly, the historical and local ethnography conference would take place on April 15-16 in Svietlahorsk.

The conference will be held in the local museum. The head of the organizing committee is Siarhiey Rassadzin, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor of History.

According to the organizers, this conference should become the next step in the work performed by scientists and local ethnography specialists on research of the past of Shatsilki and the local region.

The organizing committee asks scientists and local ethnography specialists to join the work of the conference. Those who wish may also join the work of the organizing committee.
