During his visits to Brussels and Berlin, the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) leader Aliaksandr Milinkievich will discuss with the leading European policy makers the results and further prospects of the dialogue between the EU and Belarus, as well as the results and further prospects of the Eastern Partnership Initiative.

On February 1, Milinkievich’s speech in Brussels is scheduled before high ranked officials of the European institutions and the representatives of the European embassies accredited in the Belgian capital. The speech will be devoted to the opportunities and prospects of the Eastern Partnership Initiative for Belarus. Over 70 participants registered for Milinkievich’s afternoon speech.

On Tuesday, Milinkievich will have several meetings in the European Parliament where, among other things, the possibility of Belarusian participation in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will be discussed.

On February 3, Wednesday, Milinkievich will deliver a lecture and will answer the questions as part of the discussion arranged by the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) attended by the Bundestag deputies, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the diplomatic corps, as well as by German experts. The lecture will be mainly devoted to the challenges and possibilities of Europeanization of Belarus.

The DGAP has been actively participating in shaping Germany’s foreign policy since 1955. This independent institution constantly invites German and foreign experts, policy makers and influential persons from political, economical, scientific, and media areas to discuss important issues of foreign policy and current situation in the world.
