Journey through Hrodna province
The Monuments Protection Society invites everyone to a friendly journey to the following settlements: Minsk – Hiermanishki – Voranava – Voranauka – Zhyrmuny – Vosava – Paharodna – Radun – Nacha – Pieliasa – Minsk.
According to Anton Astapovich, the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) activist and the Monuments Protection Society head, the journey will take place on February 14.
The following placed are planned to be visited in a single day:
Hiermanishki – the Neo-Gothic Catholic Church of the early 20th century.
Voranava – town buildings, synagogues, and the Roman Catholic cemetery.
Voranauka – the estate and park of the 18th century.
Zhyrmuny – timber Catholic Church of the early 19th century.
Vosava – the Neo-Gothic Catholic Church of the early 20th century.
Paharodna – the Harodna estate and the Baroque Chapel of the middle 18th century.
Radun – the Modern Catholic Church of the 1920-1930-ies, the 19th century synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, and town buildings.
Nacha – the Neo-Gothic Catholic Church of the early 20th century, the 19th century tavern, T. Narbut’s grave, S. Yundzil’s grave, and A. Shukievich’s shrine chapel.
Pieliasa – the Modern Catholic Church of the 1920-1930-ies.
