Brest democrats agreed on activities coordination during local elections
The corresponding coalition agreement was signed by the representatives of political parties and civil organizations.
The coalition agreement was signed by the representatives of the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) (Zmitsier Tretsiak), the Belarusian Popular Front party (the BPF) (Zmitsier Shymanski), the Belarusian Christian Democracy party (the BCHD) (Zmitsier Shurkhai), the United Civil Party (the UCP) (Uladzimir Radzivonchyk) and other structures. The coalition is open for work with other political parties, civil associations, independent trade unions, and civil initiatives which support the aims and purposes of the Agreement.
The agreement is entered into for the period of the 2010 elections into the local administration. The creators of the agreement view local elections as the social and political campaign. The representatives of the democratic structures agreed to delegate democratic contenders based on the “one vote per constituency” principle, to arrange joint information and campaigning events within the framework of the election campaign, and to support each candidate with democratic vision. The Council was created in order to coordinate the actions of the coalition.
