MFF is against alcoholization of people
The Movement for Freedom (the MFF) Minsk supporter Ales Shpakouski sent his proposals to the City Commission on the Fight against Drunkenness and Alcohol Abuse.
In his letter for the attention of Siarhiey Tsitsienkou, the Minsk City Executive Committee deputy head, Shpakouski tells of the situation existing in the area of Bielskaha and Panamarenki streets where the shop is located which sells alcoholic beverages 24 hours a day. Moreover, the pub of the Azarennie shop No. 28 sells alcoholic beverages in draughts till 10 p.m.
According to Shpakouski, this shop is the centre of concentration of anti-social persons who tend to commit malefactions. Offences happen regularly in the vicinity of the shop. 24-hours sale of alcohol contributes to alcohol abuse by the wide range of people, including the under-aged.
In order to solve the existing problem, Shpakouski proposes to limit the sale of alcohol in the Azarennie shop No. 28 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., to prohibit the sale of alcohol in draughts in the shop pub, and to increase militia patrolling in the area of Bielskaha, Panamarenki, and Adayeuskaha streets.
