Kletsk town residents are against the wine and vodka Bistro
Siarhiei Panamarou, the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) activist, initiated collection of signatures for conversion of the shop which sells vodka in draughts into a children café with the prohibition to sell alcoholic beverages.
In their appeal to Anatol Boyka, the Kletsk District Executive Committee head, Kletsk residents ask to converse the Bistro pub which is located at the entrance to the town park into a children café or into any other food facility with the prohibition to sell alcoholic beverages.
Kletsk residents point out that the Bistro pub attracts drunkards from all over the town who – in the presence of children visiting the park –behave indecently, swear, relieve themselves, and provoke scuffles. People who put their signatures regret to state that the local authorities pretend to intensify the struggle with alcohol abuse and create commissions at enterprises to fight with this social evil; however, little is changing in reality.
The park visitors willingly sign the appeal. 25 people supported Panamarou’s initiative so far. The collection of signatures for the letter to the District Executive Committee concerning the prohibition of sale of alcoholic beverages at the entrance to the town central park continues.
