A team of stair halls cleaners created in Pinsk

11/01/10

Pinsk town utility services will employ additional 23 cleaners from January 1 due to the efforts of the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) activists.

“First, house No.64 residents at the IPD street demanded cleaning the stair halls. Now, this practice spreads all over the town. A special team was formed – namely, 23 new cleaners were employed by the Pinsk Housing and Utilities Service”, the MFF Pinsk activist Yury Bakhtsierau says.

According to Bakhtsierau, utility services now began reacting to the population’s appeals more quickly and, when possible, promptly correcting deficiencies. For example, there was no lighting in tambours and near the entrance doors of house No.63. This situation was corrected in a day after the oral appeal of the house residents.

“They listen to us now. The residents understood they could do much when united”, Bakhtsierau adds.
