The journey for cultural valuables

Anton Astapovich, a Movement for Freedom (the MFF) activist, invites everyone to the journey with visits of the architecture monuments in Kniazhytsy, Vieyna, Dashkauka, and Mahiliou on January 24.

 

Astapovich and the Belarusian Voluntary Society on the Protection of History and Culture Monuments invite everyone to the friendly journey which will occur within the framework of the Be Belarusians campaign. The journey will include the visits to several places and historical and cultural valuables:

 

1.     Kniazhytsy – the Baroque St. Mikalay Catholic Church of 1750,
2.     Vieyna – the classicism Pakrouskaya Orthodox Church of the late XVIII century,
3.     Dashkauka – the Zhukouskis family estate and park of the late XIX - early XX centuries,
4.     Mahiliou:

 – The Baroque Mikolskaya Orthodox Church and monastery of the XVII century,
 – The St. Stanislau Carmelite Catholic Church of 1752 with the Baroque and classicism traits,
 – The Baroque Hieorhiy Kaniski Palace of the early XVIII century,
 – The Baroque City Hall of the XVII-XVIII centuries,
 – Archbishop’s Palace (former synagogue), city theatre, district court building, churches, and other city buildings of the XVIII - early XX centuries.
