Aliaksandr Milinkievich Held Several Meetings in Strasbourg

Aliaksandr Milinkievich, the Movement for Freedom (the MFF) leader, met with Vytautas Landsbergis, Russian human rights defenders, and representatives of different political groups.

 

Milinkievich had a discussion with Sergey Kovaliov, Liudmila Alekseyeva and Oleg Orlov, the human rights defenders of the Russian Historical and Human Rights Association Memorial.

 

Milinkievich also met with Vytautas Landsbergis and held consultations with representatives of representatives of different political groups which take part in the discussion of the resolution on Belarus.

 

The draft resolution was extended by several new provisions formulated after the discussions held within the political groups of the European Parliament. These provisions are relating to the dialogue of Belarus and the EU, as well as to the perfection of the law in the areas of fighting with corruption and improving the investment climate.
