Law Information for Children event takes place in Lelchytsy town

Activists and human rights advocates presented human rights advocacy literature to the town libraries on December 10.

 

Lelchytsy District Library and Secondary School No.1 library were granted the booklets from the Know Your Rights series including Children’s Law, Teenager’s Rights, Right to Labour, Right to a Healthy Environment, Right to Freedom of Thought, and Right to Fair Trial.

 

According to the organizers, the aim of this event is to improve law literacy among children and young people in order to prevent them form law infringement and to ensure the constitutional right of young citizens to receive the information on the Law of the Republic of Belarus and on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
