Aliaksandr Milinkievich Meets with the EU President

During his meeting with Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, Aliaksandr Milinkievich informed him about latest developments in Belarus, discussed the prospects of the Eastern Partnership for Belarus, and presented his view of the dialogue between Belarus and the EU.

 

Aliaksandr Milinkievich also informed Herman Van Rompuy of the situation with human rights in Belarus and of the challenges faced by independent media.

 

The two politicians agreed on further coordination of activity for closer rapprochement between Belarus and the EU.
