Detention and trial of Aliaksandr Milinkevich

The leader of the Movement "For Freedom" Aliaksandr Milinkevich was detained when leaving Salihorsk where the politician held a meeting with local dwellers.
Being falsely accused of breaking the law on public meetings, Aliaksandr Milinkevich was brought to the Salihorsk court where he was tried late in the evening. The Salihorsk judge Burautsou found Aliaksand Milinkevich guilty and ruled to impose on him a fine of 700 000 belarusian rubles (i.e. 220 euros).
